Professor at Kyung Hee University’s Humanitas College since 2011 where he has pursued teaching, research, and practical work across multiple fields related to global citizenship education and East Asian literature and culture. His books include *Two Islands: The Poles of Resistance—Korea and Okinawa*, *Like an Archaeologist in Limbo*, and *Market Power and the Humanistic Spirit*, among others.
Born in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 1970. Since childhood he has enjoyed quietly watching the world together with dogs.
