Philip.Kim@kr.boell.orgPhilip Kim works as Democracy & Human Rights Program Manager at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung East Asia based in Seoul since 2024. He is also both Gender Focal Point and PSEAH Focal Point for the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung East Asia office.
Prior to joining the Foundation, he gained various experience in the Innovation for Change – East Asia, a regional democracy and human rights advocacy group, and Korea Center for UN Human Rights Policy, an organization which plays a role of bridge between Korea civil society organizations and UN international human rights mechanisms.
Philip holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and English from the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, South Korea and completed a Master’s in Sustainable Development from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and Climate Change Policy from University for Peace in Costa Rica. Fluent in Korean and English, he is currently working on improving his Spanish and French.
